Technical Skills

I originally began college in the Engineering Technology Department. I wanted to be a technician. I wanted to work in the shop, get my hands dirty, and force myself to solve mechanical problems every day. Unfortunately, I didn't have such a good track record for going to lecture. It was unfortunate because I probably would have been a really good tech. I did really well in physics and robotics in high school--in fact, my high school hosts an annual robotics competition, and at 8th place, my team was the highest placing all-girls team that competed.
My brain still likes to function like an engineer. I still speak their language, and can actually interpret for my engineering friends in most cases. This background would give me a leg=up in any technical job where I'm required to translate anything across audiences.
